Is my institution eligible?

To see if you can purchase software for your non-profit/charity institution at education discounts, check the following list of eligible institutions.

Charitable Organisations are eligible to purchase GMARK products under the Education Licensing Program if they meet certain requirements.

Examples for eligible institutions are public libraries, public museums, food banks, non-profit community-based organisations, charitable foundations meeting the below criteria, organisations like Red Cross, Amnesty International, UNESCO, (local examples) and religious organisations operating state-recognised education and community programs.

Depending on applicable country law, eligible institutions need to provide appropriate documentation to confirm their charity/non-profit status.

Definition of Charitable Organisation

A charitable organisation which operates on a not-for-profit basis and has tax exempt status. The organisation needs to be able to prove its tax-exempt status with current tax documents from its country of residence. Supply of a website URL stating ‘not for profit’ is not acceptable evidence.

Eligible customers include organisations whose aim is:

  • the relief of poverty
  • the advancement of education
  • the advancement of social and community welfare
  • the advancement of culture
  • the advancement of the natural environment
